Dr. Mokerrum Malik is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she double majored in Biology and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. She completed her medical degree and Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2019.
Throughout her career, Dr. Malik has practiced in Texas, Illinois, and Maryland, including serving in academic medicine at the University of Maryland. She has a special interest in global women's health, gynecologic surgery, fertility, and menopause care, earning her certification in menopausal care in 2023.
Dr. Malik currently serves as an Obstetric Hospitalist, where she provides comprehensive labor and delivery care, obstetric emergency management, and inpatient women's health services. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and supporting women and their families during some of life's most important moments.
Dr. Malik lives in Howard County with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring local trails, traveling with her family, experiencing new cuisines, and relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book.
