Stay informed on the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

As a safety measure, all patients are required to wear a face mask or a form of face covering when visiting the office.

If you are unable to reach our main phone line, please call our answering service directly at 301-446-2745.

Per The Maryland Department of Health and Governor Larry Hogan, our practice is able to begin seeing patients for annual visits. As the practice begins to gradually reopen, we may experience higher than usual call volumes, resulting in longer hold times. We appreciate your patience!

Currently, our amended hours remain the same: Mon, Wed, Fri (9am-1pm) and Tues, Thurs (12:30pm-4:30pm)

Dear Patients,

Patient Care is our top priority and we are here to continue treating patients in compliance with government mandates. Since we are in a fluid situation, please check our website and/or social media often for updates. The safety of our patients and community is always a top priority of our practice, but especially at this time.

  • Our staff have committed to us that they will not come to the practice if they are feeling sick in any way.

  • As always staff continue to practice diligent hand washing and appropriate protective measures throughout the day.

  • The office and exam rooms are sanitized multiple times daily.

  • We are practicing social distancing in our office and encouraging staff and patients to keep this as best practice in life at this time.

  • Staff are expected to practice social distancing outside of work as well.

  • Several members of the staff are teleworking from home to limit the number of people in the office and lead by example for our patients.

  • The entire office is committed to keeping both patients and staff well informed with respect to new updates from the CDC as they become available.

New patient flow and protocol moving forward with COVID-19

  • Patients will be checked in from their car and are to wait in their car until their exam room is ready.

  • Medical Assistants will meet them at the door and escort them directly to the exam room.

  • All patients are instructed to call the office beforehand if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or if they have been in contact with an individual who has tested positive.

  • To our patients that are symptomatic—we are committed to our patients at all times of need, and will make arrangements for patients to receive appropriate care in a manner that does not endanger others .

  • Any patient found to have symptoms upon arrival without calling prior will be isolated immediately, and our staff will follow their trained protocol.

  • We encourage all of our patients to do their part by social distancing and practicing good hygiene. We know we will get through this challenging time together, but only when everyone works together for the greater good.

Best wishes and good health,
Capital Women’s Care
