Dr. Silvia Abularach

Dr. Silvia Abularach is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has practiced in both academic and private practice settings for over twenty years, and she has dedicated herself to delivering outstanding, compassionate care to women throughout their reproductive years and beyond. She is well known to Dr. Christine Richards and Dr. Marvin Davis as she has worked with both of them in the past.

Dr. Abularach graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. She then earned her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and also earned a Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Abularach is originally from Guatemala and is fluent in Spanish; she also speaks French and Italian. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her two children.

Dr. Abularach will be assisting with our call schedule and attending patients at the hospital through the summer.
