Dr. Mark Esposito
Mark A. Esposito, MD, FACOG, is a fully licensed obstetrician and provides a wide range of OB/GYN services to the women of Greater Baltimore. Practicing at Capital Women’s Care in Fulton, Maryland, Dr. Esposito advocates complete health maintenance and patient involvement in their care. He has special interests in high-risk obstetrics and preventive health, and advanced training in operative laparoscopy and ultrasonography.
Dr. Esposito received his bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, with honors in psychology and biology. He then earned his medical doctorate from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.
Next, he spent 13 years in private practice delivering thousands of babies and caring for patients in Columbia, Maryland. During that period, Dr. Esposito proved instrumental in the practice’s successful growth and operational development while also earning his Master of Business Administration at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore.
In 2006, his practice merged with Johns Hopkins Medicine, and he served as its physician and practice administrator until 2011, when he joined Capital Women’s Care.
Dr. Esposito is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), a member of the Medical Group Management Association, and the American College of Physician Executives. Licensed to practice medicine in Maryland, he also has active admitting privileges at Howard County General Hospital.
Family is just as important as working as an obstetrician to Dr. Esposito. He and his wife, Rieyn, are actively involved in the busy lives of their two daughters, and the couple enjoys biking, triathlons, and the arts.
